Who we are
The Trailside Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is committed to building a strong, supportive community through volunteer service. Our mission is to enhance the educational experience for all students by fostering family engagement, supporting our dedicated teachers and staff, and cultivating a vibrant and inclusive school community.
We aim to:
Provide resources and funding to enrich learning
Celebrate diversity and create a welcoming environment for every student, their families, and caregivers
Organize a yearly fundraiser and community-building events throughout the school year
By working together, we empower our children to reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.
What We Do
The Trailside PTO supports the teachers, staff, and students by fundraising and programming. One great example is the student-led grant program! Annually, the PTO invites students to apply for grants to make improvements to the school. These are some of the items that you will see added to TSE this year, all with PTO funds:
Deck boxes for the playground stocked with new ball pumps, scoreboards, base brushes, and swing timers.
Painted soccer field lines and large soccer nets
Two tetherball poles
Materials from the school’s garden wishlist like seed packets and potting soil
An accomplishment board to show off student wins
A new birthday program, led by 4th graders
